Tractor is around 6 years old. Battery still works, but now has some attitude while cranking the engine over at 60 degrees outside.
I decided to remove and replace the old battery for new now while the weather is still favorable. I have changed numerous batteries on numerous machines in the past. This one really takes the cake. The battery is located in a pit with steel framing and other items over it. Being blessed with large hands did not help accessing some of the bolts. After an hour of removing the steel, I now exposed the battery. Hoping to pull the battery tomorrow. So thankful I never needed to charge the battery in the past, as the battery is not accessible. Can't wait to replace with something able to last another 6+ years. A set it and forget it game plan.
