Well i have the best stand of corn I've ever had. 4 big blocks with staggered planting. My first is ready and is being harvested last night and tomorrow. Unfortunetly i have to rely on my wife to pick as i had surgery last Friday. The danged blackbirds are destroying what i worked so hard for in just 1 day's time. So now i sit with the 12 gauge practicing my skeet abilities. I am vowing to get more of this corn than the birds. They probably took 40% of my first block in one day. They work together in packs like crows, but aren't as smart as they keep coming back for more lead.
