BCS 725 Need Advice Please Help!

I have never posted to a forum before so i hope I do this right. I have a BCS 725 with a 8 hp kohler gas engine its between 10 and 14 years old I dont know how to find out the exact year it was produced. I have been trying to sell it but after alittle research I realized its worth ALOT more then I was being offered for it even in its current shape I had one offer but it fell through so I have decided to fix it up and go from there. Thats where the problem is I know it needs a fuel pump and clutch cable and the levers are stuck so they need to be worked loose with some P B blaster also I guess its called a filter and cover (breather?)is missing.Its been sitting for few years. The other day (while I was gone) my son shot alittle starting fluid into it and when he pulled the cord it cranked up so we know it will run once the fuel pump is replaced.there in is the prob I dont have the old one to go by (I lost it during our last move I know stupid but it happened) and I cant make out any info on the decal. so Ihave no idea how to order a new one or where to get it. I'm thinking any fuel pump from any 8hp kohler motor would work? any advice on how to go about getting these parts or identifying them and where to get them I'd appreicate it.....thanks!

UPDATE! ok this is what i get for not checking it out myself and listening to the guys that i had checking it out the fuel pump is not missing it is on there its the diapham inside the fuel pump that needs replacing and a plastic clip that holds one of the levers on. i am going out now and take carb off and clean it and try to figure out a way to get gas to carb just to make sure it will run and hopefully find a diapham for it i will keep you updated.

Its an 8hp kohler magnum engine. You can go to the kohler web site and download the engine manual. I have the same model BCS. Its a strong machine once you get it running but you will probably have to clean the carb also.
