Hello everyone,

I am swapping out an aftermakt Briggs 16hp vanguard motor for a new 13 hp Honda from earthtools for my bcs 850.

The clutch has a set screw and the clutch housing has a notched area which matches the notched area on my conversion adapter. Together these notches accept the set screw on the clutch in the six o'clock position. However when I try to bolt the Honda onto the conversion adapter, the bolts do not line up with any of the honda's unless the Honda is in it's side. I don't understand the set screw in the end of the clutch. Can someone explain it to me and how it should fit as the tractor is reassembled?

Hey Perry,

I think the notch should be at the 1 o'clock position. Give me a call tomorrow at 6oh8 7three2 5ohfive3 and maybe I can walk you through it.
