Hey, if you're interested in the this forum, be sure to click on your 'My Home' link, then go to the bottom of the page to the "Subscribe/Unsubscribe" line and click on the "Edit" link. You can then go toward the bottom of the first column to the Toolcat listing and click on the "S" radio button to subscribe to this forum, you'll then get daily emails of the posts submitted the previous day.

Why should we subscribe? I believe everyone is able to read that forum just like all the other forums -- or is this some special case? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Apparently not, for as you can see I was able to view and post in the Toolcat forum and I didn't subscribe.

All that subscribing does is that TBN sends you a compilation of all the posts from the previous day, without coming to the web site. Otherwise, you can just come at your leisure and look at what interests you and post as you like. If you don't subscribe, that doesn't prevent you from participating in the forum, you just don't get all the days posts compiled and emailed to you on a daily basis.

I don't necessarily come to TBN every day, but the email let's me browse the posts from this and other forums I subscribe to and I can see if there's a new thread that I want to come and look at.

The intent of my comment wasn't that you can't participate if you don't subscribe, I was just telling people about that feature in case they were interested. I guess I should have stated that in the post.
