- SSTT (Sideways Snake Tain Tractor) and STB (sideways train box) tractor, dirt harvester
2 flat tires. same day *arghs*
already replaced a tube in other rear tire of tractor.
but other side *arghs* bead will not break loose.
using straight liquid dish soap (from the kitchen sink counter) on both sides of tire beads.
1. pulled tire off
2. used farm jack and lifted rear of tractor
3. used some 2x4's / 2x6's between a rear of tractor and edge of rim.
4. let jack down...
5. bead is holding rear of tractor up... tractor not heavy enough to break bead for this tire *big frown*
steps unknown.... grabbed a firewood wedge splitter. and replaced the blocks of wood. thinking smaller area of contact with tire = more weight/pressure... let tractor down again... still no luck.
steps unknown.... i don't have large enough C clamps so. ratchet strap (tie downs) some 2x4's... still no go...

[h=3]How to Break A Tractor tire Down with A floor jack and ...[/h]
*crossing fingers* hoping floor jack approach will work. before rim gives.

p.s. this is brand new tire with tube, approx 50 hrs on tire. liquid ballast is coming out around valve stem area.. liquid ballast is drained down to valve stem.
