Beans done. . .yes,
Okra done? Are you kidding? Okra loves hot summer days. My okra always produces into September and we just finally give up because our freezer is full and we are tired of picking. I just don't understand why your okra has stopped producing.:confused3:
Right! Okra, the gift that keeps on giving. It should produce abundantly till Fall; keep it watered. I would plow up the beans and plant some purple hull peas; should produce a bunch before cold weather. Turnips also work good for a later crop; they like a little cooler weather.
