Greetings,
Im posting a link to the manual for this oil burner.I reference to figure 9 which is the oil inlet. There are three plugs and two are labeled inlet one is on the front and the other is on the bottom. I have my ONE feed line going to the lone plug in the front which is labeled inlet.
However I see the warning below that that says to NOT install the by pass plug. I understand what they mean but then it says the unit was shipped without the by pass plug installed.Yet the hole labeled by pass has a plug in it.
I assume i should remove the plug? there doesnt seem to be very good picures of the oil pump side for reference.Page twelve deals with the oil supply.
This is a brand new unit and my oil tank in inside on the cement with one foot legs, and I had gravity flow through the line.(good stream)
sorry for such bad pictures.. IMG_0715.jpgIMG_0717.jpg
So basically three ports two labeled inlet and on by pass. but all three came with plugs installed even tho they say it would not have the by pass one installed from factory.( I dont have a plug in the misc parts)IMG_0715.jpgIMG_0717.jpg

Thanks so much....and the manual PDF form

The plug they are referring to is an internal hex head small plug ( looks like a set screw) that is underneath that plug you are seeing. It may be in a small bag taped to the burner or in the box. It is not installed at the factory. You would only install it if you were putting in a two line oil system and it sounds like you are not. Hook up the supply to one of the ports labeled inlet and you are set. All the ports come plugged because they don't know your configuration.
