I went to purchase a tooth bar and was going to buy one from EZ Attachments. I noticed that there is only one dealer in the state of CT for EZ Attachments. I think their products are high quality, so I am thinking about becoming a dealer. I called them and they are very receptive to the idea. Is there anything I should be wary of prior to getting involved? I need to provide a tax idea number and credit references; he is sending a bunch of brochures. I would have them drop shipped to my house.
Thoughts appreciated

Are you already selling something, are you a store? How would you market this? Finding a good product is great, the trick is to inform others of what you have so they beat a path to your door. :)

If I was in your shoes I'd have some questions.

1. How much inventory will you hold? Is the inventory cost out of your pocket?

2. As a dealer will you be on the spot to repair the equipment/handle warranty repairs? Do you get compensated for warranty repairs (maybe this is a non issue - just thinking out loud)?

3. Will you need additional insurance to cover the inventory?

4. Will you sell this stuff on credit (credit cards I assume)?

Not trying to discourage you, just want to be careful.
