I posted about buying a grapple that when it came was not really what I thought it was going to be . Being made out of thinner metal, I was worried that it might not hold up for what i wanted to do with it. I liked the way it was made and after talking to some other's about what they had for a grapple ,I decided to keep it . I've used it and think it works great. I did bend the top tine points (two) while trying to pick up a lg. rock. After hearing what some of you have done to beef up your grapples I wanted to do the same to mine before I bent it all up. I had a good friend do some welding on it , and he did an awesome job. I have posted pic's of it on another thread but thought some might miss it , so here are a few that I took today . The first one is before the welding got done to give you an idea how the points of the top tines were weak. Also had him weld a couple of hooks on it to. The rock is the one i bent the tines on the first time .
