STOP CALLING HORNETS BEES!

THEY ARE NOT BEES!

and yes, I was yelling.

Just don't give bees a bad rap, it pisses me off!

What if " they" called "us" baboons? Kinda look the same after all?
;-)

Sorry dude if I "bugged you" hehe. No need to swear/yell about my post - I was in no way giving them a bad wrap, but asking a question regarding hive location. But if you are riled up, hit the fridge and drink a cold one to settle down. :drink:

I always thought of bee's like silverware - different forms of the same type of flying bug. Hope you understand my analogy? I can sometimes be 'vague'....... :confused3:

Anyway, I think the gist was a question regarding hive location- from possible folk lore; of which few have heard apparently.

Only bee hives I know of are domestic or feral European honey bees; and they are permanent hives in tree hollows. White-face hornets make the big roundish nests you see in trees or under your house eaves.
I wasn't suggesting it was a hive of sorts, a bee swarm is different. Just a huge bunch of bees hanging.
