Client called a bee service. They wanted $150.00 to remove them.

This afternoon as I was talking to the client's wife she all of sudden screamed "the bees!"

I turned to see what looked like a tornado coming up out of the ground. This happened just as the bee service pulled up the drive.

I headed for my truck. She screamed "wait for me!"

I yelled back "I'm not going to get into the truck. I'm going to make sure the windows are up and all the bin doors are closed."

What I learned from this was the best way to get rid of bees is to call a beekeeper. They'll leave as soon as they see him. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Times are a changin' I guess. The Communications Division of the Dallas Police Department used to keep a list of beekeepers and their phone numbers to give to people who called. Those beekeepers would go get the bees just to start another hive; no charge.
