D&G - First of all (everyone else is wrong) - you do not have a disease.....you have an opportunity to improve your lifestyle; gain peace of mind; reduce your stress levels; accomplish something worthwhile; build self esteem; etc....all by owning/operating a tractor! This is not a problem - it's a solution!

Secondly - while going bigger is ALWAYS the universal goal of most men(re: tractors; cars; trucks; barns; houses; tools; steaks; drinks; acres; shoes; women; etc...), you may find that (slightly) smaller is more beneficial to all the items listed in the first paragraph. If I had a much bigger tractor, my work would get done long before I had the opportunity to clear my mind; get away from the daily grind; enjoy the seat time.

Finally - the real disease you WILL GET is not buying a tractor, its buying all the implements, attachments, tools, equipment, barns, etc....that your tractor (you) need/want. Saving money on the tractor allows you to justify (to she-who-must-be-obeyed) and then also afford all the goodies you actually need to use which is why you bought the tractor for in the first place.

Alright TBNers - let the tomatos fly..........

OK... well, Champy, I think you and I agree... in my first post in this thread I said:

"Well, there are two parts of tractoring. First, the engine... then, the attachments. It could be argued that you should initially list the attachments you will be needing and their sizes, then obtain the engine that fits that equipment."
