My new L48 doesn't have cup holders. In fact, there really isn't a place to put a water bottle, or anything. I had put one of those UTV Sport Bar mesh things on my RTV a while ago:

Cabela's UTV Sport Bar Caddy

I put one on my L48 and it works great. At first I thought the mesh bag was kind of silly, but I keep my hard hat in it, or my regular hat when I'm running the tractor. The thing has got a couple of hooks for hanging a coat, and a couple of pockets for holding water bottles. Open beer bottles might spill, but the pockets are great for holding closed beers so they are ready to be deployed as soon as the tractor is parked.

Some people still believe that it is dangerous to drink and to drive.

Where did you attach it to the L48?

When I'm working in the hot sun, I believe it is dangerous to not drink (water) and drive. I need to take a couple of quarts with me if I'm going to be out a few hours.

The beer is for after the tractor is parked, but that's just me.

Back left pillar of the ROPS. Not obvious that it wouldn't be in the way, but it isn't. Doesn't obstruct my vision, and doesn't hinder me when I'm rotating the seat.

my wife bought me a magnetic cup holder. It also has a zippered pocket for things. I have it mounted in hands reach:D

Rule number one... you don't drive a tractor... you operate it!

I thought maybe that was where. Wasn't sure if the attaching method was sufficient to put it on the ROPS or not. Thanks.

I put my "Octopus" style drink holder (which holds everything from a large dunkins ice coffee to a beer) on the fender. There is a hole in the fender on the passenger side which I simple just bolted the holder to. Nothing worse than no drink holder! Oh, anyone notice that when operating either beer or soda goes flat within 5 -15 minutes and ice coffee gets the iced melted real quick because of the jiggling? And yes, beer makes mowing 5-20 acre fields so much more relaxing, but after 5pm only for me. I actually keep a cooler on board for during the day for water and Powerade.

You guys really think that some of us really believe it is just Water & Pop (soda to some of ya) during the work day and when the day is over the real cold beer comes outa the cooler??? :)
