I need to make sure I am dealing with the right things. I have a 250 tractor with a MF 232 loader that has been out of commission for many months (long story, has cost $$). I can't manage to re-connect the bottom one of the auxiliary hyd lines to even re-install the loader. This was my dad's tractor, so I don't have all the history, but I already know the two fittings "look" different.
The male connectors look the same to me, but they were connected when I removed the loader to have the tractor split for the repair.
Before I start trying to deal with this as a "pressure on the line" issue, do I need to change fittings? The top fitting works great, quick and easy, but I have struggled with the bottom fitting for over thirty minutes.:mur:
I'll admit, there is a little desperation to get this repair done, as so much work on the acreage has piled up.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice.
