I bought my Belarus 250AS new in 1989. Back then, I thought $700 for power steering was a waste of money. Fast forward to my 60's and I find that it would have been a no-brainer cost back then. I found out that you can't turn an aircraft carrier around in the middle of a creek!
Is there any information out there concerning my piecing together a power steering system on my tractor? I can't afford the cost of all new parts, and I am a fair fabricator, so it will need to be other than "off the shelf" parts. What size cylinder do I need? Where would I hook up the hydraulic system? On the right side of the tractor in front of my right foot? Or wouold I need an additional pump? I appreciate any and all feedback.
