Last Saturday, 19 March 2011, was a full moon -- a super moon, they say -- since the moon was at perigee at the same time.
I've never shot the moon, so I had some measure of trouble getting the focus and exposure right -- and it still isn't sharp enough IMO.
But, nonetheless, here's what it looked like in south Mississippi shortly after heaving above the horizon.
I'd love to see you pictures of the moon; that night or any other. Post 'em here.
