The Honda engine speaks for itself. Get a direct drive Cat pump. Done deal. Otherwise, wish (later) that you had.
I have had the 13HP Honda / Cat for years. Never failed once. Runs like a well-oiled Singer sewing machine to this very day.
Remember riding a go-cart with a centrifugal clutch? Just like a belt ... I mean that in the nicest way too.
Direct drive for the money.
