On a previous thread, I went through a lawn tractor for my wife. It is starting and running perfectly and a joy to use. However, I've notice the deck belt (I think) is rather slap happy.
Where would you guys start? New belt? If that doesn't do it, would you look at the tensioning system? Replace spring, tension wheel, that kind of thing? The visual is tough to do because there isn't much room to "look" while running and of course, no way to safely push or pull anything to check.
Took the deck off today and the spindles seem solid and deck is clean as a whistle.
