Well, Do not want to hog the other post. So I bent my tilt cylinder. It was quite stupid. The grass was about waste high and I am sure that tree stump was somewhere else on the property. I was going too fast and 2 tons of tractor and .5 ton of mower... bent it bad enough. Of course I did not notice this until much later. The cylinder was straightened... But now it is clear to me we need to make a change on the lower cylinder. In mowing position the rod is too extended and too thin. So, I will start to hunt for an upgrade. Something with a thicker rod for sure.

Also, Update on my hockey puck bumpers on the mower bladed. I have come to realize that the center mowing blade on the 1850 should NOT have anything in its holes. Due to the direct drive hydraulics, the kickback force is severe, stronger than a grade 2 bolt and I do not want to risk a grade 8 at the moment. Also, I do not find it ever jamming under.

Now, the other 2 mowing heads.... One just lost a puck, but the bolt is sill there. I think the pucks have to go. I am babying the blades with the puck for no really good reason. But you do need the bumpers on those outside blades for sure.

Anyway. All the news for the moment.
