I am new to this forum and am looking for some advice. I have a Cub Cadet Z Force 50 and have bent the frame. I hit a hidden gopher turtle hole at full speed while mowing a field. This bent the frame at the front axle pivot point. The front axle appears to be in good shape, but it is very hard to get the casters to turn. The cheapest I have been able to find a replacement frame is $635. Should I try to have a shop bend the frame back into place? I am not sure if it is even possible. Or should I just bite the bullet and buy a new one? The mower only has about 300 hours on it and is in relatively good shape. Thoughts??

I just looked at a picture of one. If I was fixing it I would remove the frame so that I could straighten it in a press before welding it. That could be more expensive than simply replacing one. I would go with the replacement frame.

Yeah, that was pretty much the conclusion I am coming to as well after checking with a fab shop. I appreciate your time and feedback.

Could you post a picture of the damage done to your mower?

I don't think it would be too difficult to repair, especially if you have a welder and metal work tools. Another forum that I like to browse is weldingweb.com. Some people there could help you.
