Well yesterday I was working on the driveway with the BB. I was tilting the BB some so I could crown the driveway. Had to extend my top link all the way to hook back up to the BB. When I lifted the BB, then end of the top link with the threads closest to the BB bent. Can I buy just the one threaded end a TSC and not the whole top link?

I don’t know if they sell just the ends a TSC but the last top link I bought there was under $25 dollars so it is not the end of the world. I did have to hit one end with an angle grinder to fit the tractor side of the top link hook up on my Kubota.

If you have to extend the TL that far just to hook up - it's too short. Rather than spending money to fix that one, why not buy the next longer size? If you still elect to replace the end, take the TL with you. You need to turn in a known good end to make sure the female threads aren't damaged as well.

Be advised also, that the opposing ends are not threaded the same. So first you want to select an end with the correct threads, THEN you want to see if it will actually thread into your TL. THEN compare the price of the replacement end - with the price of a new (longer) TL.

I'd want to know why it bent in the first place . The top link is under tension not compression (when lifting). It must have fouled on something to make it bend .

Personally..Id repair ( buy a new end) for the screwed up link and buy a BRAND NEW top link from TSC.

I Leave each top link on the equipment ...that way I dont have adjustments to make.....when I hook up that impliment...the top link is already adjusted.

I think what happened was I had the BB angled way too much. I got the right pin on the BB into the QH. I then had to remove the adapter and extend the top link all the way out to get it to fit back to the BB. The left pin was still approx. 3 inches above the J-hook on the QH. So I lifted the BB hoping to get the pin in the J-hook. I guess that was too much stress on the top link and I bent the one end.:( :( :(
