I'm sure its already been asked but what is a good, strong bumper type 16' trailer? I want to use it around the ranch hauling brush, etc. Needs to have protection around the tail lights. I want it to be sturdy.

Not sure this is the best or strongest, but it hsould do what you're describing.
I recently bought a trailer from Hedererbuilt in SE Missouri.
tandem axle, 7k rated, 16' plus 2' dovetail, 5' long self storing ramps and 4 wheel hydraulic (surge) brakes for lees than $2,000.
at that price - even at today's gas prices, it was worth taking a day off work for a road trip to pick it up rather than buying from any of the trailer shops within 60 miles of me. (and it was an ALL day road trip)
Happy shopping!

I just bought a 20 foot dual axle and it was very competetively priced
