Best and worse disposal idea for fireplace ash

I usually run the hose over them pretty good. In winter I just throw snow on them.

I have two ash cans with lids. It takes about a week or so to fill one of them. When the second one is full I dump the first one on either the compost pile or IF the driveway is slippery then it has priority.
