I have a root grapple and it rocks for everything but pushing that small brush that ends up on the ground after dropping rotted trees to the ground. The little stuff. The tines are turned up on the ends and I have to cant the bucket significantly to get the tines under the material once I build up a glob it pushes really well, but inevitably I will catch a root and the carriage is in a weak position. Although it usually rips out the root it throws the stuff I am raking everywhere. I can back grade in the woods with success but I want to be able to push. Easier to not hit trees. I was thinking about a root rake but I think it would dig in as well. This is for a skid steer.
