Tractor
Kubota L3400
I just purchased a Kubota L3400 with a FEL (no SSQA) its 4wd and has 30hp at the pto. The tractor is about 60" wide.

I own about 40 acres of forest with some trails and I have 450ft long drive way that's about 15000 sq feet.

I currently use a home made drag and atv in the summer and a 44" snow blower (lawn tractor mounted) in the winter to maintain the driveway.

What attachments do you recommend? and size?

I suggest a Ratchet Rake bucket attachment as your first tractor tool.

Nothing better for tearing out and piling brush.

Good for light grading such as your driveway.

Can open a small garden plot.

Ratchet Rakes are sold by Tractor Supply Company, but TSC seldom has more than one length in stock.

The T-B-N store, button at top of page, is an agent for Ratchet Rake and ships every size. Convenient delivery by FedEx.

Forks and Bucket for the front and a box blade for the rear. Add Top n Tilt to the 3 point as well.

Not quite the same, but after I'd got my tooth bar on my B7800 I discovered that I could have saved a LOT of cuss words had I had one a long time ago!

Add into this a thumb of some sort you can get tons of work done. Claws and thumbs, that's how nature does it!:D

I'd start with a 7' rear blade. Good for lighter snows....lot faster than a blower. And good for drive maintenance . I prefer a good ol rear blade as opposed to a box blade for drive repair, because you can angle it and maintain the crown and ditches.

Yes, as roadhunter mentions, a box blade offers a lot of utility. Heck, I've even turned the rippers around and set in plywood to use my box blade as a carrier! Move dirt. Bust up sod and rough till a garden. And, if you're careful (and you have a heck-for-stout box blade like I have) rip stumps out (rip up roots).

I have had a loader, rear blade, and box blade for gravel driveway maintenance for 30 years,,,

Now, after one re-do of my 1400 foot long driveway,, I am positive the best tool is a landplane,,,

If you can build or afford one,, get a landplane. I built mine.

Welding a receiver hitch on the box blade is nice so you can use it to pull trailers as well as give you a hook up point for chains and what not. The box blade works as a great counterbalance for loader work as well. Box blade is good for things like moving snow and dirt. TopnTilt makes a box blade 10x more useful.

Will vary by your needs, but my most used CUT attachments are pallet forks, landscape rake, and back blade. Seasonal use of rotary cutter, roto-tiller, and 3-point fertilizer spreader. I also have a 3-point disc and 3-point 2 bottom plow but they will go for sale next spring. I also have a Landpride Grading Scraper for my long driveway but it is difficult to work with - it may be I just haven't figured it out. Grapple is useful but works better with my 135 HP tractor as the one I have is super duty. The landscape rake surprised me in its usefulness.

For the driveway - rear blade for snow removal(84") - - land plane grading scraper for summer maintenance(72")

For moving just about anything - grapple - width of front tire track

I don't mow anything other than large lawn - so I have no rotary cutter.

For moving material - FEL with bucket - bucket around 6" wider, on each side, than front tire track
