Best chain saw

First, thanks to everyone that offered comments/ suggestions. I brought home an ECHO CS 530 today as a stable mate to my CS 400 that I do like. My dealer, who also sold and services my Kubota BX 25 and my ZD 1800 plus the many other lawn and garden power tools i have bought gave me a great deal on the now discontinued CS 530. As I mentioned before also after using a chain saw for over 45 years I invested in a pair of chaps and face guard/ helmet. Don't want to press my luck after al lthese years of doing just that. All good safety equipment. Great insurance against some prevalent chainsaw massacres.

If you add a chainsaw vest you will complete your safety suite, almost.

The vest protects against several of the typical chainsaw "OOPS."

These include but are not limited to: lower neck where helmet doesn't help, collar bone area at top of shoulder, chest, etc.

Even with the addition of a vest you aren't totally safe.

Oh, don't forget the hightop chainsaw safety boots either.

I have all this stuff but... the single most important safety item when chainsawing is a clear head thinking about what you are doing.

stihl all the way better product i think but make sure its the 2 stroke which is the gas and oil mixture cause the new 4 stroke motors on any equipment isnt good and i have read bad reviews about um

MS260 is a great saw if you can find a new one, Buy it.

You need 3 saws in my book.

My list is the

460 magnum with two port muff 36" bar, big tree saw
Ms260 pro with 20" bar, general use
Ms200 rear handle for delimbing pro saw
