best cup/can/bottle holder kaz e kup

Like many, I've been searching for the perfect cup/can/bottle holder for my BX since I bought it in '04. The holder on the tractor is too short and narrow and only hold cans real well. But I drink mostly bottled water or Propel and they could never stay up over angled or bumpy terrain. I decided to search the Web for a better choice after seeing a magnetic cup holder in a novelty catalog. After researching for awhile, I came across this product called a Kaz-e-Kup. It holds every type and size drink container you can get your hands on and fits in the existing holder as an extension. It worked well there, but I also purchased a really sturdy magnet that uniquely fits the bottom of the holder. I took the BX for a 1 acre mowing of a sloped and rough-riding sheep meadow and it didn't move anywhere! I was very impressed. It also gives me more mobility getting in and out of the seat because it's mounted behind the existing cup holder. The design contains spills as well. Attached is a photo showing it on the magnet, stuck to the small patch of metal behind the existing can holder with a Kubota stainless steel travel cup inside it.

Nice magnetic solution, but my BX is made of plastic.

Of course, since it's plastic, I shouldn't feel at all bad if I drill and bolt something through it... or even glue something to the fender. I just need something to hold my cigarettes and cell phone, and I'll admit I've eyed up my wife's Tupperware a few times. But that would just look silly!

You've pushed me over the edge - I'm going to look for a solution for mine today.

Search for "Chalkey Cup". An original TBN Member, figured all this out 10 years ago, with great results.

On our boat we have cup holders that pivot so the beverage always stays level. I suppose you could get one at a marina, maybe even afix it with some GE silicone caulk so you don't have to drill any holes in your bx. Happy motoring:thumbsup:.
