Best Hydralic/Transmission oil

My Mitsu MT372 uses combination hydralic/transmission oil. Someone sugggested using 80# gear oil. Is the combination oil I see in automotive stores the same as 80# gear oil? Are there any recomendations on the best oil to use in this application?

80# gear oil would to heavy (thick) for the hydraulic pump. Use the manufactures recommended oil or Universal Hydraulic Fluid available from TSC and Tractor dealers.
