Best JD parts site?

I am slowly putting a parts order together on the Green Farm Parts site. The site is very easy to navigate. I put my fuel filter number in the search box and it came back with nothing. Then I did the drill down menus and found it within 1 minute - here they use a replacement part number for that filter. The parts break down works really well. And just for fun, I priced my little spin on oil filter, then did a cross reference and priced the NAPA Gold equivelent (WIX filter). Wow - the NAPA filter was 55% more. I also like that they have very reasonable shipping for small orders, and free shipping for orders over $75. Perfect!

I am putting together some maintenance items to keep on hand like oil & fuels filters etc. I thought about having a spare mower deck belt on hand, but after pricing it I don't know - really expensive. I've owned quite a few Deere mowers and never had a deck belt failure. Now that I said that I probably jinxed myself - but it's kind of hard to swallow $79 for a part that I may never use......

Anyone else keep a spare deck belt on hand?

Oh, and by the way - thanks again for pointing me in the right direction for a parts site!

Did you use the SAVE7 code to get 7% off during the Memorial day weekend? I just ordered $250 in parts and filters and it made a dent in the total, plus the free shipping and no tax.

The JD MMM belts are well known for lasting a very long time, I would not keep one in stock for that price.

MY 4210 7-Iron deck has close to 750 operating hours on it and the OEM belt still looks good.

Oh - thank you for that! I haven't made my order yet - only priced out my list. Have to double check what I have in the barn and will take advantage of that discount today or tomorrow.

Ok - just as I thought also. I only bought one belt many years ago when I was refurbishing an old 332. I agree their belts last forever it seems. Worse case scenario is to get without for a couple days if one goes as I could have one shipped right away if needed.
