My HST pedal felt a little (very minimal) stiffer than usual.
Found the grease fitting under there I saw in another thread and greased til some came the joint at the front near the fitting. Is this the only one involved?
The damping cylinder looks clean and OK -- I was wondering what is the best lubricant to spray on the piston rods going in and out of the front and back of that cylinder. This is the cylinder that looks like a mini shock absorber.
My machine was manufactured in 2003 (bought in 2006) and dealer upgraded pedal w/ new bushing that requires cracking tractor in half as it was stiff from sitting outside for a while on dealer's lot.
Just wanted to know the best lubricant in your opinion. I've read WD-40 isn't so great -- what about this PB blaster I read about on here? I haven't seen that here in the northeast but will order it from somewhere if it will work the best. Thanks.
