Best Parts Deal.

Where is the best deal on parts. I have a Massey 1233 and I need to buy trns. mission gears. The pinion gear or shaft is what I need. It comes as matched with the ring gear. $850.00 from the Dealer. Any suggestions?

sounds like rear end parts not tranny parts.. but whatever.

aside from salvage yards.. I'd research the part numbers and see what I could find online compaired to the dealer.. might look at an entire rear end from a yard too.. ( wengers of pa.. etc.. )

Well acutually the pinion gear is in the section called the Sub Transmission where your low,med.,and high range is . The end of the shaft with the pinion gear goes into the rear main housing where the ring gear is. The pinion gear and the ring gear are in two seperate housings but you have to buy them as a set. But that's my luck!!! I did find one Dealer with a price of $720.00
