Best Pre-Spray Spotter for Tough Carpet Stains?

I’m looking for a good pre-spray spotter to tackle tough carpet stains.

I need something that works well on both light and deep stains without damaging the carpet fibers.

Has anyone tried the pre-spray spotters designed for professional use? Do they really make a difference compared to standard cleaners?

I’d love to hear about your experiences—especially if you’ve dealt with high-traffic areas or stubborn stains like coffee, wine, or pet messes.

Any recommendations on the best products or techniques would be greatly appreciated!

I use 2 different ones:

• Spot Shot
• Capture

Both work well on pet stains, one does better on greasy stains, but the directions are clear on the cans. Can get at big box stores.

What kind of stains on what type of carpet? It makes a difference.

Club soda and blotting goes a long way with water based materials. Beyond that, I think it depends on the stain, and we use a spectrum, e.g. dealing with mustard is different from gum, is different from grease, and cotton is different than wool and different from nylon.
