Price Check Best Price on 420 Loader

I went to the local dealer and priced a loader for my 855. He said the 420 Loader would fit with a bracket kit for the 855.

I was a little skeptical until I saw it on his computer that it showed it would fit. Anyways, he quoted me $3,100 installed.

I guess I will start looking for a used 420 loader. If I can find one, I can buy the brackets and install it myself.

Anybody have the aftermarket brands on theirs and can tell me how you like them?

Yeah shop around, I just priced a new 420 loader for 3600$ Canadian dollars... So your price seems a bit high.

Thats $2,474 in US dollars.

Here was what was included:

420 Loader, Mounting frame for the 855, Hood Guard, 1550mm bucket, Bucket level indicator, shipping and installation: $3,118.48

$200 is for the mounting kit, I guess I should of asked how much if I do the install myself. Was your price installed?

Yeah my guess is that it would be installed on a 4010 that I will also get from that dealer at the same time if the price is right! This includes a 49" bucket but I'm not sure if the Hood Guard was included. The Hood guard is something that I definitely want also. I have no idea about the bucket level indicator. I will check on my next visit at the dealer.

I am not sure on the price difference in buckets, but the price I was given is for a 60" bucket.

I just got done surfing around and it seems this is about right on price as far as I can tell. I am sure a dealer might give you a better price if you are also buying the tractor from them. I did not buy my tractor from a dealer though.
