Kubota B3030HSDC
I just purchased a 2006 B3030HSDC with 247 hours on it. What size rear mount snowblower can it handle? I've been mainly seeing 60". Can it go bigger? What are the best and most reasonable brands out there. I'm pretty excited to get moving snow here in MN.

Thanks,
Keeks43

I am using the Kubota BL2664 (64") model and it works just fine. With the HST you can go as slow or fast as the tractor / blower can deal with the snow.

I ran a B7510 with the bl2664 and it seemed quite under powered. I would think the 3030 would handle it fine plus you can adjust the speed to what ever the tractor can handle.

I'd stay in the 60 to 66 inch range.

60 inch Buhler Farm King on my 3030 works just fine. I can pop open the rear window and reach the manual chute rotation without too much trouble.
I found that I can pretty much sit sideways on the seat and still reach the pedal/steering wheel OK and see what I need to see behind the tractor without much neck strain.

It will spin a 72" but will probably feel underpowered in anything more than a few inches of light fluffy snow. With a 60" you'll be able to cut through just about anything.

My B7800 (same powertrain as B3030) handles an old 72" blower in deep wet snow with absolutely no problem, the secret being the HST. It will do this as fast as I want to travel backwards in all but the deepest banks, such as what is rolled up by the road plow. The only problem I have is that it is just too much wider than the tractor and the FEL bucket and I have to be very careful not to sideswipe things when working with the FEL. For that reason alone, if I were replacing the blower I would go for a 60" to 64" one.

I've got a 60" with wings extending the cutting width to about 66". My B3030 has never even whimpered even with the auger full of wet, heavy snow. The shear bolt breaks before the tractor bogs down. I beleive this tractor would power a 72" with no problem.
