I have a GT245, but my question applies to any tractor with a hydro tranny.
Keeping the tranny cools is obviously important, since it has its own cooling fan. But what's the best way to keep grass/dirt/mud/etc from accumulating on the tranny? You can't effectively reach in there and clean it by hand. Is it OK to spray the tranny off with a power washer, or would high-pressure water cause other problems?
