Mom was busy cornering the crack repair co as to methodology and guarantees:
After some wiggling & waffling they said 1 year warranty for kids use.
The oldest kid is 16 and 6' tall. The other kid thinks bath is a 4 letter lookup word in m-w.com
"Well maybe the crack repair is not best in your case"
I was looking at clearances to getting a new 1 piece up there.
The original one was probably put in before there was framing & doors up. A two or 3 piece would go in pretty easy. Mom has been watching the neighbors house pretty closely. The retired couple goes to FL for the winters & should be back any day. She enlisted or more likely drafted the poor guy when she moved in and found out he liked doing home repairs.
I'd bet some key lime pie he gets drafted to put in a ceramic tile replacement /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif (along with the growing to-do list since he escaped to FL last Fall.)
I stopped in a couple of years ago when Norman (the retired guy) was finishing up painting the kitchen.
I said "pink kitchen?"
He said "it's not pink, it's ______" forgot the fancy color /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Mom gets home and I say "nice _____ kitchen!"
