Forks Best way to ship new forks?

Hi Guys, I just purchased anew set of skid steer forks for my ASV-PT60 they are in Knoxville Tennessee and I need to ship them to southern New Hampshire. Anyone have a favorite method?

I had them shipped to the local feed store. Much cheaper as it's a commercial address, and they had a fork truck to take them off and load them on my truck. Delivery to a house is usually much more expensive. I just checked with the manager there, they were very helpful. He called me when they came in, I went down and picked it up.

I have done the same, mucho cheaper than having it delivered to the house. With the amount of money I spend there every month they never flinched.

I ended up finding a great shipping rate through Freightquote.com almost half of the majority of shippers.

$240 from Knoxville to NH for a 450 lb set of 48" forks and backing plate instead of the $450 - $700 quotes I was receiving.

I would have hated to pay 250-500 just for shipping

Mine are $775 (shipping included)for 48" 4000lb rated with steps for the skidsteer. I did pretty good.
