Better 3000 wiring diagrams?

My 3204 had the reverse and seat switch disabled before I bought it. The reverse is mechanically disabled. However with the seat switch, I can find absolutely no indication of jumpers, new electrical tape, nothing to indicate a bypass. I have the fenders off for another issue so everything is exposed and I can't find anything.

I want to re-enable the seat switch to cut off the PTO - some mowing is on slopes and I can't affort to lose any appendages.

I have an '3000 Series Electrical' section that I found somewhere online, but there are only two (VERY basic) pages for the Kohler engine - it's mostly dominated by the B&S. I also doubt it's accuracy, because I have two relays in the batter compartment (and what I assume is an inline diode (assume because I haven't pulled the tape off yet)). Also I'm hard pressed to believe that CubCadet/MTD doesn't have a service diagram w/wire colors.

Can anyone provide any help? Well versed in electrical, but the wiring diagram is almost useless (or worse if it's no accurate!).

I should also add that NONE of the safety interlocks as described in the owners manual work as advertised:

1-engine does not shut down if PTO is ON and I leave seat (OK, but I want tractor to stay running)
2-pto does NOT disengage when in reverse (but that's OK)
3-engine does NOT shut off if brake is not applied when leaving seat (I can live with this)

I noted this evening that when I go to CubCadet's website and view the parts breakdown, only one relay is listed there as well (and this is searching with exact model/sn). It's certainly an OE relay, with OE wiring beneath. I guess not all 3000-series are alike in this department.

I was at the Cub dealer and decided to ask if they could offer any wiring diagrams. They said they needed my exact model # (ie 14a-391-...) to look them up. The wiring diagram they pulled up was the *exact* same one I had. Very general, no mention of a second relay, no wire colors, etc.

I later found out that my seat *switch* does indeed work, but the lever arm that actuates it isn't functioning properly. Apparently the 'return' spring seat broke on the seat base... so no spring action to return it to 'off' (as in, off-seat).
