It only applies to a certain serial number range. Your dealer can tell you if your unit is affected. It's the pin that joins the hydraulic cylinders on the boom on the top. If you'd like a picture let me know and I'll take one tomorrow. I've put about 5 hours on mine since the pin was replaced and no issues,

I do not know the range. In my case what happened is that I bought a new B3300SU with FEL and BH77 (and other stuff). A month later Kubota got a notice that MY specific BH77 needed the new pin. The serial number was clearly listed on the notice that the mechanic let me read. It's a 2 minute job to replace it. Perhaps your unit is new enough that your SN is not affected. Perhaps you could post your SN and I will post mine and see how far apart we are.

thanks again will receive the new unit on 7/15/111 wait foe backhoe to arrive but will do so on that dat thanks so much for your help. i just trade my b2620 with the bh 65 and i did every thing with that little hoe,stump oak, rock 1/2 the size of the machine step it up with small rock and dirt but never had any issues with it 256 hrs machine ran perfect this is my 3 machine
