I posted this on the Customization section but really didn't get much of a response.... Posting here hoping for more success.

I'm working on converting my 3pt hitch backhoe to a subframe mounted hoe. I have an L3540 and found a subframe kit on ebay that fits this tractor. The subframe I have is made for a BH77 so I am unsure whether it is compatible with the BH92. I don't want to make a custom backhoe attachment to hook up to this subframe so my shortcut is to look at purchasing the kubota brackets used on the BH92 backhoe side when hooking up to a "cab" tractor. These brackets are $209 each and I want to be sure they fit the subframe I have.

Here's a picture of the subframe I have. What I'm asking for is the distance from the bottom pin to the top pin on a BH92 to see if the Kubota extension brackets will work. I also need the "Pin" size for the top pins. The ones I have that came with the subframe are 1 1/4" in diameter.

Here's the extension bracket mounted on a Kubota BH92 on a cab tractor. I believe this belongs to Waxman.

Tractor side mounted subframe (not mine) and is marked with a yellow line for the measurement I'm looking for. Mine is 12 1/2" measured from bottom of the hole to bottom of the channel.

I measured from the bottom of the "cradle" to the bottom of the "hole" and got 17 3/8" on both sides. Hope this helps.

Well that's quite a bit bigger than my subframe. Looks like I'll need to make a custom mount for my backhoe to use on the subframe I have. Thanks for providing those.

It might be worth getting the subframe kit from Kubota. There is quite a bit to it and after using mine for what I would consider average work I wouldn't want to skimp on the subframe, it definitely takes some abuse. I don't have a very good picture but zoom in on this one and see how much bigger the braces coming off the loader are than on a non backhoe subframe.

I have a Kubota subframe I purchased from Messicks that was part of their old stock. It came with all the proper hardware to mount to my tractor. The reason the subframe to backhoe size is smaller then what you posted is that mine is for a BH75A / BH77 backhoe. I already have a 3pt backhoe and want to adapt it to hook up to this subframe. I haven't been able to locate any Kubota extension brackets for the BH75A/BH77 which would be used on cab tractors to move the hoe further away from the back of the tractor to accommodate the cab/seat clearance. I was looking at the extension brackets the BH92 uses but unfortunately, they're too big to fit my frame.

I've found a few postings of TBN'ers making their own subframe and backhoe hookup. I'll just make my own brackets. I'm sure it'll be an interesting project. Thanks

Got ya, I misunderstood the first post. Good luck with the brackets and be sure to post a few pictures.
