I remember making my 13" bkt for my CADDigger homebuilt hoe and the
carcass was 1/4" plate. Tough to bend in the arc I needed. Now I know
that it would have been easier and better to make the carcass of 1/8 or
3/16" steel and add wear strips to the edges and middle. Amazing what
you can bend with the right heat and persuasion.....

I run Esco teeth on my excavator. The shanks and teeth aren't the cheapest, but they last and I've never lost an esco tooth in 6 yerars of commercial digging.
05 Kioti CK30HST w/ Prairie Dog backhoe, XN08 mini-X
I just bought this tooth at a JD dealer. It goes on a 35-degree shank that
is 1.5" wide. I plan to use it on a single tooth ripper attachment for my
backhoe. This is my preferred "bluetooth".
