Recieved the new tractor and plan to practice removing and installing the BH this weekend. When the dealer delivered it and was going through it he pointed out that the lift arm linkages were disconnected from the lift arms when the BH was installed. His reasoning was that if they were connected someone could activate the lift arms and do harm to were the lower arms connect to the BH.
Also the Top Link was connected but very loose. He said that they only sold about 4 BH's a year and he wasn't real familar with them. (That made me happy
) He did say that the owners manual didn't say anything about it and I looked and he is right. It's very light on installation and removal of the BH.
I knew as he was talking that I had this great source of knowledge and you folks could hook me up with what should and shouldn't be connected.
So, can you tell me do the HY lift arm linkages stay connected or not? Should the top link once connected be tight or loose?
Thanks guys, I'll take some pics of the removal/installation process this weekend.
