BH65 - Grease Port Mystery

So I was greasing my tractor the other day, along with the backhoe (BH65).

All the locations made sense, except for the one if the photo. I can't understand why there is a pin there, since there does not appear to be any moving parts. I tried greasing it, but who knows where the grease actually went :confused2::confused2:

That looks like the top link pin for the dipper cylinder inside the boom, the cylinder that makes the boom go up and down.

That's interesting. Do you have any pics that show the whole backhoe including where it's pinned to the backhoe frame? On my BT601 (for a BX) the boom cylinder and dipper cylinder co-terminate to a common pin. I thought just about all of the newer Kubota hoes were designed this same way. Either they aren't, or I'm not understanding yet what that pin actually is.
