I have a BH75 backhoe and when it sits over night one of the stabilizers leaks down. Can't see any fluid leaking out. When I go to raise it the control lever is rock solid in the up position. I have to keep steady hard pressure on it. After about 2 min it will slowly start to raise. Works fine then, till left overnight. Is this a problem in the cylinder, check valve or something or in the control levers valve body?

If a cylinder retracts & isn't leaking externally it's your valve. If it extends it could be a leaky valve or air sucking through the rod seal & internal packing.

Leaky valves (internally) aren't rebuildable. They are extremely precise metal on metal spools in a metal valve body. There are no plastic or rubber seals to replace. Just metal on metal. Unless there is some crud stuck in the valve preventing it from closing fully you are out of luck.

I have a similar problem, leaking down, with the stabilizers on my B26. I took to using a tie down strap to keep the stabilizers in the up position. My B26 is in a garage and it makes it hard to get around when the stabilizers aren't all the way up.

The problem started almost from the day I bought the tractor with 300 hours on it. I guess I could get the valve changed but for now it's just an irritant, nothing more.
