Yes, a DiezNutz-powered 8-lb maul. I like the logs to dry out a whole season first.. they usually start cracking on their own, and then mauling them is relatively easy (and fun).

I would sure enjoy having a tree held at working height vs the lean over cutting that I have done for years.

Safer too since your leverage isn't compromised. Also better for your chain since you're not rolling the log around in the dirt and less chance of digging the nose into the ground.

BTW, how did you put your pictures in the actual post vs a link?

I posted them to my Photobucket account, and linked from there. I used the option to generate "IMG clickable thumbnails" and pasted the code into my post. It's only an extra step or two.
It would be nice if TBN had capability for thumbs, or at least to be able to mix attached pic links inline with text... 'course beggars can't be choosers.
