That hoe is an 8.5'-digging class hoe, which is pretty heavy for your
light tractor. I would stick with the 7.5-class hoe, like Kubota's BH75
with the factory subframe. I have operated the BH75 on on the L3400
(very briefly) and it is plenty. Other hoe vendors make subframes for
the L3400 to mount other brands, too.

So my tractor is too light for this hoe? I can keep looking for the right deal.

I've seen dealers install lots of Woods 80X backhoes on L series Kubotas, and they look like about as much as I would want back there, but I have also seen them mounted on the new B3200 too, and I guess they work OK. On the other hand I've haven't ever seen anything as large as a BH90X on anything smaller than a Grand L. The only one listed as an option for your tractor at the Kubota web site is the BH76.
