I like to look at Equipment Trader Online.com-Search Over 35,000 Listings to Buy or Sell New and Used Equipment when pricing equiment.

I'm leary of equipment from auctions. When my dozer was giving my problems, the mechanics at dealer said to sell it at an auction. That way the buyer wont know whats wrong with it and they won't have anybody to go to when they find out. This like of reasoning kind of scared me, since I figure that allot of people probably sell equipment at acution for that very reason.

I know that you take a risk no matter who you buy from and the price on that Case sounded too good to be true!! Sorry you missed out on it.

I not only use Equipment Trader Online to price equipment, but I also bought my tractor through their ads. It was several thousand dollars cheaper than I could find in and around East Texas.

OK, I didn't type all that link stuff. I just typed in the name of the website. Maybe they are a sponser here or something, but I find it odd how my post was added on to. Oh well, it's a good place to price equipment.

thank's guys, I do go to equept. trader on line. also at the next auction are 3 J.D. 's from the power co. P G & E . There equept is allways well maintained.
