TV antenna pole. About 30' high. The pole may have bent, but it was never toppling over with that chunk! Just bought the place in Dec. and am trying to prepare for an addition on the back of the house. Had to abandon a sewer plant and get this thing out of the way.

that is one big rock, any idea of the weight? a lot depends on the type of rock.

Looks like concrete to me. Given dimensions should be able to determine weight without too much effort.

Dug out around it about 3' deep with the BH and sort of ramped on the front, then held it up with the fel and pulled it out in reverse wtih a chain tied to the frame. It's about 3' X 3' X 4' and except for the 2 - 2" pieces of pipe, it's solid concrete.

It' a little more than a cubic yard of concrete, which according to a couple of sites on the internet, should weigh between 3600 and 4000 pounds.

Was thinking of putting at the road for someone to pick it up but afraid they might hurt their back and sue me for putting out a temptation with out sufficent resources to move it safely!

/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gifLooks like a birthday muffin. Set it in the middle of your lawn with a light bulb at the top of the two pipes, give the icing a fresh coat of white paint though. This really shows what can be accomplished with a little patience and a bit of leverage. My wife loves building rock gardens. She does the design work, me and John make it happen. (about the only thing that grows well up here is rocks so we should never run out of work but I have threatened to add wheels to some of the bigger ones after relocating them 4 or 5 times)
