I came close to the same scenario when I was logging.
Boss wanted me to take my Husky Brute track loader up a hill in the wintertime.........log road was icy.........I told him to hook his d-7 to me and pull me up........he said........ya don't need it, it'll walk right up there.
I got halfway up, and it cut loose. I slid about 50 feet down the road and was half over the edge of the hill before I could drop the boom and dig the 'dogs' into the ground to get me stopped. Good thing I pooped before I went to work.:thumbsup:
He never argued with me after that.
